The Bury Retro Car Club used to organise and run The Cars on the Green inc. Bury Motor Show (Now run by Abbeygate Events) and through this event we as a club raised money for charities and local good causes, by asking for donations from its visitors and exhibitors who attend FREE of charge.

 

In the past 9 years the event has so far raised in excess of £40,000 which has gone to charities and good causes such as, East Anglian Air Ambulance, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, McMillan Cancer Research, St Nicholas Hospice, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Riding for the Disabled, Crohns & Colitis UK, The Rainbow Ward at The West Suffolk Hospital plus many more.
